The Rancho Valencia Resort is an exclusive hotel located 24 miles north of the San Diego International Airport, in Rancho Santa Fe. This secluded hideaway offers privacy, relaxation and recreation on a very intimate scale. Guests may dine in the restaurant or al fresco in one of the many terraces and courtyards. The Rancho Valencia Resort offers onsite fine dining, recreation, and it is convenient to area attractions. The hotel also has a heated outdoor swimming pool, two whirlpool spas, a croquet lawn, fitness center and is close to golf courses.The guest suites start at 1200 square feet in size, and all of them offer a fireplace, private garden studio, spacious bathroom with walk-in closet, and a wet bar. The bathrooms are extra spacious and feature walk-in closets and a separate vanity. The Rancho Valencia Restaurant is located off of a mission-style courtyard, and using the freshest local ingredients, serves French-California Cuisine breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a brunch on Sundays. The Del Mar King Suites have a king bed, a sunken living room, vaulted ceilings and a private garden patio. The Mediterranean décor features colorful hand-painted tile work, open beamed ceilings, plantation shuttered windows and terra cotta tile works. Spa treatments are also available in the privacy of every suite. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the 18 tennis courts and its "Top 10 in America" rated tennis program. Tucked away in a private canyon in Rancho Santa Fe, the resort is just minutes from the seaside towns of Del Mar and La Jolla. 24-hour room service is available.
